4,000+ riders awaiting the 7 AM start of the 109 mile ride. The event is wonderfully organized including police controls at all intersecitons with riders passing without need to stop.

I was relegated to the rear for arriving later to start. They offer Platinum, Gold, Silver, & Bronze starting groups based on rider speed over thi 109 mile course. It took about 20 minutes after the start before I crossed the Starting Line with 4,000 riders ahead!
